Glass – The Right Choice is designed to improve participants’ understanding of:
• The use of glass in a commercial building, as well as the functionality and performance this versatile
material can provide
• The manufacturing and fabrication processes used to produce different types of glass and the applications
for these products
• Various kinds of fabricated glass solutions to enhance basic glass performance, including insulated units,
safety glass, and fire-rated glass
• Methods of measuring and evaluating glass performance, to help make a better informed glass choice
• Criteria for selecting a glass manufacturer, fabricator, or specific glass solution
Following this presentation there will be a tour of the NEW Wolverine Glass fabrication plant.
